The album contains ten brand new songs written with love for the great glam era of 1972-74, as well as an interpretation of Moonlight in Baskerville, which the songwriting duo Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman had intended for Sweet, where it was supposed to be a follow-up to Ballroom Blitz. However, the British band turned down the song and got Teenage Rampage instead. Unfortunately, today we only have guitarist Andy Scott from Sweet’s classic line-up with us, and of course he received the first copy of SilverGlam’s CD when it came out of the factory recently and was delighted with what he heard. “It’s a fantastic version [of Moonlight in Baskerville], which the band has clearly made their own,” was part of his verdict, which he delivered to Michael Damkvist, who manages some of Sweet’s social media activities.
